2. Tailpiece
Hardtail or vibrato? Designed by Andy Powers, each tailpiece offers a singular feel and tonal response.
A fixed-pitch toploader mounted directly to the body and anchored into the internal structure. Delivers a focused attack, strong sustain, and excellent tuning stability.
A proprietary camshaft tailpiece, precision-machined in-house. String ramps are compensated for tension and gauge, allowing strings to move in pitch relative to each other. A zero-point return mechanism supports smooth bends without pitch drop, with the option to set for full floating vibrato.
3. Pickups
Choose your core tonal character. Proprietary single-coil pickups feature rare-earth neodymium magnets for high sensitivity and dynamic range.
Rounder and more balanced, with a wider resonant peak that enhances warmth and note bloom.
Clear, immediate and articulate with a focused high end and punchy attack.
4. Saddle
Each material imparts a subtle but meaningful shift in tonal flavor.
Balanced and punchy, with strong midrange presence and clear definition.
Bright and lively, adding shimmer and a crisp, percussive edge.
Warm and organic, emphasizing the fundamental with a woody overtone character.
5. Plating
Unify the look of your hardware. Applies to tailpiece, pickup covers (FF42) or frames (PF42), and back access panel. (Does not include tuning machines.)
6. Pickguard
Complement, contrast or go without.
7. Knobs
Add a final splash of visual style. Designed and produced in-house, with layered color construction inspired by surfboards and hot rods.
